Control and supervision of activities of 07 sub-registry offices of this district.


  1. Recruitment and transfer of 3rd and 4th class employees of the district registration department.
  2. Hearing of appeals against the sub-registrar and marriage registrar's denial of registration order and issuance of order.
  3. Determining the minimum market value of privately owned real estate.
  4. Issuance of Certificates of Document Writers, Renewal and Cancellation where applicable and Supervision of their activities.
  5. Inspection of district sub-registry offices and supervision and management of their activities.
  6. Inspection and passing of indent of office of District Registrar of Marriages and collection of license fee and supervision and management of their activities.
  7. To settle the grievances against the employees of this department working in the district as per the rules.
  8. Complaint against the marriage registrar working in the district and sending report.
