Vision and Mission



Important activities of the District Registrar's Office:



1. Control and supervision of activities of 07 (seven) sub-registry offices of this district.

2.  Recruitment, transfer and promotion of 3rd and 4th class employees of district registration department.

3.  Rejection of registration of sub-registrars and marriage registrars, hearing of appeals against the order and order chief.

4.  Determining the minimum market value of privately owned real estate.

5.  Issuance of Certificates of Document Writers, Renewal and Cancellation where applicable and Supervision of their activities.

6.  Inspection of all sub-registry offices and marriage registry offices of the district and supervision and management of indent pass of marriage registrars, collection of annual arrears.

7.  Complaints related to document registry, marriage and divorce registry are investigated and disposed of as per rules.
